PPA/Float Teacher with Extra Responsibilities

Are you passionate about learning and eager to inspire and engage young children? Our school is a friendly, vibrant, four-form entry school situated in Thornton Heath. We are seeking a dedicated PPA/Float Teacher who shares our vision to raise standards and make a significant contribution to providing the best possible education for children in our school.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Covering classes across the school during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
  • Supporting various year groups and adapting to different classroom environments.
  • Leading and managing English/Phonics instruction across the school.
  • Providing targeted support and intervention where needed.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven teaching experience with a track record of raising educational standards.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Experience in leading English/Phonics is highly desirable.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) are mandatory.
