We require a Teacher of Business and Economics who is an experienced well-qualified teacher with the skills and imagination required to undertake this important teaching role in our high-achieving school. A specialism in Economics would be an advantage. There may also be the opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a leadership role as head of department.

St Edmund's is England's oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for students from 3 to 18 and welcomes pupils and families from all faiths. The College offers modern facilities in a magnificent country setting in rural Hertfordshire, providing a safe and stimulating environment for young minds.

You will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children's barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.

As with all staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.

The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity.
