Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced BRICKLAYERS to join the team.

A wide range of experience is required on the domestic building side, incl, ground work and knowledge of loft conversions, extensions and renovations.

Duties:

Tasks required by this job include:
examines drawings, photographs and specifications to determine job requirements;
marks and cuts stone using hammers, mallet and hand or pneumatic chisels;
spreads mortar on foundations and bricks, and places, levels and aligns bricks in mortar bed;
uses hand and power tools to shape, trim, carve, cut letters in and polish stone;

levels, aligns and embeds stone in mortar and faces brick, concrete or steel frame with stone to make and repair structures.

• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required for construction projects
• Construct and install various building components, such as roofs, walls, and floors
• Paint and finish surfaces to meet project specifications
• Install electrical wiring and fixtures
• Install plumbing systems and fixtures
• Perform masonry work, including laying bricks and blocks,tiling,roofing,painting.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.Willing to relocate if needed.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
