Newstaff Employment are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Bedford.


- Paid Assessments are now available.
- Immediate Starts / Daily Shifts

Requirements:

  • Start available between : 10:00 -17:00 or 17:00 - 23:00 or 23:00 - 04:00
  • Must be flexible to drive all vehicles. (Truck, Rigid or Urban Trailers)
  • Have no more than 6 points on your license
  • Minimum 1 year Experience as HGV 1 Driver
  • Good English Language and communication is compulsory
  • Must have a valid UK Driving License, UK DIGI card and UK CPC card

Job Role - Ongoing

  • 1 or 2 store deliveries per day
  • Average 12hrs shift
  • Daily Bookings
  • Unload cages/pallets
  • PAYE Rates
  • Day Shift GBP17ph
  • Back Shift GBP17.75ph
  • Night Shift GBP19.93ph
  • Bank Holiday - GBP34ph - GBP39.86ph

Overtime is paid after 45hrs , from GBP23.46ph - GBP26.39ph
Please note after 12 weeks, 45minuite break will be paid


Employment will be subject to completing and passing a driver assessment and induction.
