An interesting opportunity has arisen to join a leading law firm in London as an IT system engineer. Collaborating with IT teams, the main purpose of this role is to contribute to a seamless IT operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing software and communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Main duties:Supporting routine updates and system checks.Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.Installing and configuring software applications and setting up hardware devices.Implementing and monitoring security protocols.Providing assistance with hardware related issues.Maintaining accurate records of technical issues and solutions.Providing a mixture of desk side, remote and TechBar support.Offering technical assistance to end-users and clients, guiding them through technical challenges.Ensuring all ServiceNow incidents are requested and actioned.Providing assistance as a project resource when required. Main experience and skills required includes:Previous experience within a professional services environment.Supporting Windows 10, Office 365 and Exchange.Supporting legal applications including WorkSite, Big-Hand and InTapp Time and Expert.Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.PC, printer and network troubleshooting.Supporting mobile devices.Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.Aptitude for problem solving and documenting the solution.Confident and clear communication with people at all levels.Well organised and good time management. Also required is the ability to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands. It is essential that you are team-oriented and able to deal with tasks effectively.
