With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety and building maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6,000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis.

Role Criteria:

We are looking for an experienced multi skilled operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will be working on individual jobs going from job to job to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction.

You will ensure that all joinery work in the vacant properties is completed to a high standard. It would be beneficial if you had experience with small scale plumbing, plastering and tiling.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

What are we looking for?

  • Additional multi skills including joinery, bricklaying, tiling & glazing, plastering, and decorating
  • A trade relevant qualification or a background in 2 or more trades
  • Good written & verbal communication skills. Numeracy skills. Able to understand & follow standard operating procedures. Able to use a PDA following training.
  • Full and current driving licence, able to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrates company values e.g. customer first.
  • Full UK driving license
