Fund Accounting Manager Vice President (Private Equity)

Apex is seeking a skilled Fund Accounting Manager Vice President (Private Equity) to join our welcoming and inclusive team in London. This full-time Fund Accounting role offers a generous salary and benefits package for your dedication.

In this Fund Accounting Manager role, you'll support their Line Manager in the delivery of the operational service to a portfolio of clients, ensure a high standard of service delivery, and train, appraise, and motivate the team. You will also support and participate in ad hoc projects with the aim of improving the operational activities of the business and enhancing client experience by providing a "value add" service.

During your first few weeks in this Fund Accounting Manager role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
  • Manage the production of client quarterly and annual reporting and related accounting activities, demonstrating a solid knowledge of complex private equity accounting, waterfalls, equalisation, etc
  • Perform reviews of clients' quarterly and yearly reporting and other accounting activities
  • Ensure reporting deliverables are produced in line with the appropriate accounting standards, fund documentation, local regulations, policies, and procedures are produced and reviewed to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner
  • Build excellent working relationships with clients
  • Review, recommend, and implement changes to client deliverable processes
