Conservation Officer

The district is situated in rural south Leicestershire and is one of the most prosperous and attractive areas of England and includes a wealth of heritage and development growth areas. Harborough district is home to 62 conservation areas and over 1,250 listed buildings.

Development Management is looking to add an enthusiastic and able conservation officer. You should be a good team member as well as being self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and teamwork. The postholder will need to be able to deal with listed building and planning applications and give conservation advice. A degree in conservation, planning or planning related subject is required and experience or demonstrable interest in conservation.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 9am Monday 9th September 2024.
