Competitive Hourly RatesAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SHO in Paediatrics A&E to join our team in Northern Ireland.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting immediately and running until 11th August 2024, with the potential for extension. The role involves working a full shift rota, providing comprehensive emergency care to paediatric patients.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality medical care to paediatric patients in the A&E department.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments of a wide range of paediatric emergencies.
Work closely with senior clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Participate in handovers, ward rounds, and team meetings.
Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
Engage in continuous professional development and training.
Requirements:
Medical degree and full GMC registration.
Completion of Foundation Training (F1/F2) or equivalent.
Previous experience in paediatrics or emergency medicine is desirable.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
