The firm

The firm has several offices, both of which have been established for over many decades. They have an unheard of staff retention rate with the majority of staff having been at the firm for double-digit years.

They are a full service law firm and have equally strong commercial and individual departments. They are well-known within the HNW community that if you are seeking quality advice, with complicated and oversees assets, this firm is the first port of call locally across the South-East.

You will find a friendly and professional culture, there is a nice social aspect to working at the firm with regular activities and dinners. There is a strong management team, and they are currently in the process of succession planning, making now a perfect time to join.

You will obtain an exceptional level of exposure working with what we consider to be rainmakers. They have real team spirit and no hierarchy which is often found in Partnerships. Open doors and open dialogue where everyone is encouraged to contribute and have a say to the running of the firm.

The role

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing regional practice based in Guildford, Surrey.

The Private Client department is currently thriving, they deal with a varied caseload, often acting for HNW individuals, company owner's entrepreneurs and individuals based in the UK and abroad. Expect a varied caseload including; Complex wills and assets, Tax planning, Estates, Trusts, LPOA, Probate and more

You will be joining a large team of 4+ lawyers varying in experience and PQE. The department works in a very open-door way meaning juniors can really develop from learning from the seniors, and seniors equally have the support of the juniors within the team.

This role comes with good training and career development.

Requirements

You will be a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive with 3+ years of experienceYou will have worked at either a smaller local firm, or a larger regional practiceYou will have a good eye for detail, and a determination to progress through the ranks
