About the Role:
You will join our School of Life Sciences, working with academics teaching and conducting world-class research in Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Crime and Investigative Science, , and Animal and Environmental Biology, based in our Faculty of Science and Engineering. We seek expertise in developmental biology and genetics, with a focus on invertebrate model organisms and expertise in areas such as CRISPR, bioinformatics or other fundamental genetics techniques applied to development. With a degree and PhD or professional doctorate (completed or nearing completion within 18 months) in a related discipline, you will have teaching and research experience which will be applicable to the core mission of the School of Life Sciences and which will enhance the student and staff experience. You will ensure high standards of teaching, whilst adhering to quality assurance standards, and provide an excellent student experience.

You will be committed to research and prepared to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, as well as developing your personal research activities. Your research will align to the School's research strategy ). You will possess excellent communications skills and will demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
