Altum Consulting are pleased to be partnered with a private equity backed global digital film and video technology business. This role will sit in the UK finance team and will support the UK Financial Controller and Finance Manager.

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring company policies and procedures are maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • To assist in producing timely and reliable management information reports on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in month end reporting inclusive of P&L preparation, bank recs, balance sheet recs, intercompany recs, staff costs allocations
  • Preparing standard and ad hoc month-end journals
  • Preparation of the 'staff cost to project' allocations file

    Key skills
    • Finance & Accounting degree and currently looking to study a professional qualification ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
    • Good computer skills, especially spreadsheets and accounting software
    • Good interpersonal skills and commitment to work within accounting deadlines.
    • Proficiency in English
    • Highly committed to work, willing to work in a team
