Job Title Youth Development Officer

1 FTE 37 hours per week

Grade PO1

Children's Services in Telford and Wrekin are offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead a range of youth development projects over the next 18 months. Our ambition for our Youth Work Offer is to empower young people through a wide range of initiatives and support services and to create a positive and inclusive environment where young people can thrive and reach their full potential.

The post holder will support existing providers and provide capacity to support with grant applications and oversight of the local authorities statutory duties in relation to youth work and our local needs assessment, ensuring coproduction with communities and young people.

This post is fixed term for 18 months. Secondments are welcome with agreement from your line manager.
