Position Summary
To support the 2D creative visual output for the all Kendo Brands with guidance and direction from the Senior VM & Property Manager
This role supports the creative design and technical execution of all visual merchandising requirements for the region.
This includes (but not limited to) new stores, remodel, refresh, and relocation of all store environments (Stand-alone stores, department stores, specialty multi-channel and pop ups). All brand VM launches including (but not limited to) light box updates, locator updates, locally designed tester units, pricing updates and all 2D consumer facing communication, Window designs and launch guidelines for the teams in store to follow.
There will be some key stakeholder and interface between the regional and global brand. Particularly with global creative teams - Ensuring continued innovation across team, while in adherence to brand guidelines. Concepting and ideating designs to help drive overall brand strategy and storytelling on all VM executions across the brands distribution.
The role will act as a strategic partner to our brands ensuring creativity is to the highest standards, reporting to the Senior VM & Property Manager.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure brand equity is maximized at all times, in conjunction with brand and retailer guidelines Ensure consistent brand execution in the retail environment. Align with the regional strategy, brining Global Creative identities to life New Store Opening/Renovations
Liaise with Senior VM manager to ensure store designs are aligned to the global guidelines and the regional marketing strategy Create planogram/product layout, pricing updates for new store designs Work with team to create print assets for new store openings Work with printer to ensure colour matching VM dressing at point of launch, and guidelines to support VM
Local adaption of guidelines, with inclusion of any local initiatives, designs and copy Storytelling with guidance from marketing Support the development of any local unit and POS Create concept drawings Working with wider team, oversea the design of artwork required for display units, light boxes, windows Create store installation guides Ensure our stores reflect the VM strategy by adhering to the VM guidelines Implement new counter installations and refits including post installation follow up Ensure clear messaging though out all categories Be consumer focussed Enhance store experience and services E-Comm
Familiarity with current UX and prototyping tools. Experience in content creation and UX principals (guiding teams with directional copy and design flow). Ability to storyboard, comp visual ideas, and create light creative copy. Advanced conceptual creative and production skills with a strong understanding of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts and typography. Video editing capabilities using Premier Pro or similar Events & Education Guidelines
Conceptualise in store events - work with store design where required. Create collateral orders Create print assets for event. Work with printer Profil
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Highly creative and good sense of design Ability to come up with ideas and designs and bring them to life. Qualification - Relevant 3D, 2D, Product, Industrial, graphic design, interior design Understanding and ability to work with fonts, communication hierarchy and Graphic design principals Software - competent with with Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite. Sketch up Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required Coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Collaborative team player Keen to learn and develop within the Beauty sector Expertise in multi-brand environments International and affiliate level education/work experience
