About the role:

We now have an exciting opportunity for candidates with a genuine passion for marketing to join our innovative team as a Marketing, Communications and Events Assistant. This is a pioneering approach to apprenticeship delivery, and you will be engaging in a multitude of opportunities never seen before in an apprenticeship provision.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individuals with the ability to inspire, ensuring our marketing efforts are engaging and impactful.

Our team thrives on creativity and innovation, and we want to appoint someone who can bring fresh ideas and dedication to our marketing strategies. A genuine interest in developing professionally within the marketing field is essential.

You will work collaboratively with our team to plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns. You will also experience all areas of marketing, from video content creation using industry standard equipment, to planning and leading on events at our campuses.

You will undertake team-building and external challenges, such as first-aid courses, expeditions, attend expo's and have the opportunity to mentor your own student.

This role is part of the Activate Pioneers programme and includes the Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship, providing a strong foundation for your future career in marketing.

We have 3 fixed-term, full-time positions available at City of Oxford College Campus until March 2025. There is an expectation to travel to Reading Campus once weekly for in-person learning, and to other campuses to fulfil the needs of your role where appropriate. Roles are also available at Reading and Guildford.

If you'd like to learn more we'll be hosting discovery evenings on the 4th, 6th and 11th of June. Should your application be successful you'll be invited to one of our assessment days on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July.

What do you need to be successful as an Activate Pioneer Apprentice at Activate Learning?

Successful candidates will have Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English, a Level 3 qualification and/or have appropriate experience that demonstrates a proficiency in the world of marketing and encompassing areas.

You will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be driven and committed to becoming Britain's next best employee.
