We are expanding our Works department at Cranleigh School, and a new junior carpenter role has been created.

Reporting to our Senior Carpenter, this is a varied role carrying out carpentry and bench joinery works in a busy school environment. The post holder will be part of the dedicated Works Team that covers all planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and minor repairs.

Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and be confident using all manner of mobile power tools and comply with current Health and Safety Practice relating to this trade. The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic and keen to learn, have good attention to detail, be a team player, and adaptable to working in different areas of the school campus. They will also have a qualification in a carpentry based diploma and a full driving licence.
