Geo-environmental Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a Remediation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a company at the forefront of innovation in drilling.
Our client's patented equipment has revolutionised the industry when establishing the stiffness and compaction of site materials before and after treatment.
This has lead to a diverse range of exciting projects. To meet the growing demand and continue providing exemplary service, they are expanding their team.Key Responsibilities:
Implementing and updating on-site Health and Safety protocols.
Enforcing adherence to Materials Management Plans.
Supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
Assisting in the tendering and pricing process.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers.
Ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with established procedures, maintaining the highest safety, health, and environmental standards.
Upholding compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborating in the implementation of mental health and well-being initiatives within the company.
Providing support to line managers in various aspects of project management.
Ensuring health and safety in complex and often hazardous working environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum degree qualification in an appropriate geological or geotechnical discipline (MSc desirable).
5 years of experience in remediation or environmental contracting/consulting, or graduate experience (desirable).
Demonstrated commitment to working in accordance with policies and procedures.
Knowledge and experience in compliance and accreditation.
Proficiency in data collection, interpretation, and the preparation of technical reports.
Experience in soil and water sample collection, sample storage, and dispatch to geotechnical and chemical testing laboratories.
Familiarity with geo-environmental software is an advantage.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Physical fitness and ability to work both on construction sites and in an office setting.
Possession of a full clean driving license.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Capability to produce high-quality reports.
Experience in earthworks and heavy civils (desirable).
Relevant CSCS qualification (desirable).
