An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a reputable Housing Association, based in London. This role will involve handling a range of financial duties, making it a perfect fit for individuals with a strong aptitude for accounting and finance.

Description

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and statements.
  • Performing budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Contributing to the financial planning and strategy of the organisation.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA)
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent numeric and analytic skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to solve complex financial problems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 per year.
  • Generous pension contribution of 15%.
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus an additional 3 days during the Christmas closure period.
  • Flexible work arrangements, with 2-3 days in the office and flexibility on start and finish times.
