Fabricator/Welder Role in Paisley

Role Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld steelwork from detailed drawings.
Manufacture small to large assemblies.
Ensure components meet specifications.
Perform self-inspection of work.
Use MIG welding equipment, cutting tools, saws, drilling machines, and hand tools to produce quality fabrications.
Identify and report any problems or alternative manufacturing methods to the Fabrication Manager.
About You:
Skills and Experience:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.- M.A.G.S welding experience.
Experience with stainless steel is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with MIG welding equipment, cutting tools, saws, drilling machines, and hand tools.
Experience in lifting, turning, and moving heavy loads with overhead cranes.
Strong understanding of safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in fabricating mild steel structural steelwork.
City & Guilds parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent preferred.
NVQ Level 3 in Welding.
Abrasive Wheels and Fork truck/Telehandler licence are desirable.
