Project: £10bn+ Defence nuclear construction programme based in central Southern England. A 10+ year programme to deliver a manufacturing capability including multiple projects. The programme is in a highly secure site and will require successful candidates to achieve SC+ clearance. This is due to need to work in live and strictly controlled environments that are operating at the highest levels of safety and security. The programme is established and currently in a planning and capability development phase in preparation for the delivery phase to begin in Q

This position is a key part of the Construction Logistics Team that will provide construction logistics support to all construction activity on the Client's sites. The role holder is responsible for establishing and managing a process for: capturing performance information from across the logistics teams areas of responsibility; presenting performance information to the construction logistics team and key stakeholders; and ensuring that the Client's reporting requirements are met in a timely fashion. The role holder will enjoy significant freedom to engage with the wider sector supply chain to assist with the development of the holistic client's Construction Logistics plan.

The aim of the business is to bring in suitably skilled, experienced and passionate individuals who will thrive and excel as we continue to redefine the boundaries of ambition.

We are seeking talented individuals that want to join us as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager that can work with us in our Consultancy division.

Your responsibilities will include:

To capture, analyse, store and present in a suitable format construction logistics-related performance information.

Establish and manage a process for the capture and presentation of performance information to inform construction logistics team and wider stakeholder reporting requirements.

Ensuring that all construction logistics-related performance information and associated reporting is presented effectively, efficiently, compliantly and safely.

Supporting the Construction Logistics Team, the 3rd Party Construction Logistics Partner and the Client's construction projects by ensuring an accurate, timely and common understanding of construction logistics-related performance information across all projects within the client's portfolio of construction activity.

Functioning as the Construction Logistics Team's eyes and ears on construction logistics-related performance information.

Designing and implementing the construction logistics reporting strategy and plans in the projects within the role holder's portfolio.

Producing and providing, to the Construction Logistics Team and its stakeholders, project performance information, issues, risks and opportunities in relation to construction logistics.

Liaising with the functional leads within the construction logistics team and external stakeholders to ensure that there is an effective process for the capture, processing and presentation of performance information.

Deliver milestones/objectives set by the Construction Logistics Systems Manager.

Working as part of an integrated project team that brings together people with One Vision across several companies, Stakeholders and Third Parties.

Ensuring a safe and collaborative working environment in which people thrive.

Leading and contributing to multidisciplinary teams in matrix organisations to meet client outcomes.

Managing and outperforming against the contract (typically NEC4).

Determining the project schedule and activities throughout the project life cycle.

Developing detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from approved budget.

Determining project risks and develop a project risk management plan (RMP), facilitating the risk review process and managing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks through the RMP.

Preparing monthly reporting, ensure reporting mechanisms are linked to on time on budget delivery and ensure implementation of project management methodology.

Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
