Restaurant Head Host/Hostess - 30 hours/week

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of hosts/hostesses. As the Head Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and an outstanding dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Consistently offers a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests and customers on arrival and departure, always with an impeccable posture and personal presentation. Additionally, ensure guests are seated in a timely manner, considering their preferences and special requests.

· Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.

· Manage guest reservations and waiting lists efficiently using the restaurant's reservation system.

· Train, supervise, and motivate the host/hostess team.

· Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.

· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, policies, and feedback, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Oversee the organisation and cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including the entrance, waiting area, and host stand.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
