Prior Park College, Bath is looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Biology to join our thriving Science Department from September 2024.

The ideal candidate will be a specialist Biology teacher with an excellent academic background, first-rate communications skills and a passion for holistic education. The position could suit an ECT starting their journey into teaching and looking to benefit from our structured & recognised induction programme, or a more experienced practitioner eager to take the next step in their career at this prestigious and friendly school.

The Biology department comprises four teachers and a technician and enjoys top-class accommodation and facilities at the heart of our 57-acre site, with three superbly equipped laboratories served by a generous prep room. The department supports Biology provision at KS3, GCSE and A-Level and is a hugely popular Sixth Form subject at Prior Park.

All staff and students at Prior enjoy their own school-provided Windows 11 laptop for use at work and home with touchscreen and active pen technology. Staff laptops dock into large flat-panel displays in all classrooms, and our teaching makes extensive use of Microsoft OneNote and Teams.
