Admissions Officer

We are looking for an Admissions Officer to join our External Relations team at Kent College, Canterbury.

Working closely with the other members of the team, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our Admission's strategy, including the maintenance of accurate data and preparation of summary statistics and reports as required. They will also be responsible for all administrative aspects of pupil recruitment.

The successful candidate will require first rate administrative skills, the ability to work under pressure, and will be able to act as an ambassador for KC. Knowledge and understanding of the Independent School sector and UKVI CAS an Visa processes would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train. The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a happy, caring and successful school in which pupils feel supported and encouraged to aim for high standards of achievement and conduct.

The school was graded as excellent in all categories in the recent inspection conducted by ISI in October 2022, the Independent Schools Inspectorate that conducts inspections on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.

THE POSITION

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (including evenings and weekends as required), full year.
