Job Summary: The Gas/Heating Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems, including gas appliances. This role involves managing a team of heating engineers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of heating engineers and plumbers.

  • Provide training, support, and performance evaluations for team members.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of Gas Safe registration and other relevant certifications.
  • Conduct health and safety checks and quality assurance inspections.
  • Technical Support:
  • Offer technical assistance and guidance to the team.
  • Ensure all heating and plumbing work meets internal and external standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Customer Service:
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the services provided.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of heating and plumbing projects.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a heating engineer or similar role.

Gas Safe registered.

Strong knowledge of heating systems, gas appliances, and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with occasional overtime.

Field-based work with some office duties.
