What you'll be doing:

Mobilise and manage a team of specialist fire safety and explosion safety engineers in support of the development of DSEAR risk assessments and nuclear fire safety case risk assessments across the Barrow siteProvide leadership and oversight relating to the analysis process and techniques/ templates of technical reports and relevant documentationProvide leadership and governance oversight of analysis activitiesDevelop the structure of formal reporting of the analysis work streamsAct as a point of contact for key engineering stakeholders across the siteProvide leadership and oversight relating to work and proposals for external packages of work and the review of documentationChair relevant workshops and working groupsProduction of relevant safety plans and schedules for projectsYour skills and experiences:

Essential:

CEng level or equivalent level of capability DSEAR and Explosion safety assessmentsDelivery Planning & Line Management experienceDesirable:

Fire risk assessment/safety case production and updatesPolicy and process documentationSite Fire Safety case experience Experience of COMAH assessments Benefits:

The Fire & Explosion Safety team:

You will have the opportunity to work within a team of engineers and technical specialists to help us design, develop, integrate, manage, and support manufacturing facilities across the submarines business units. Work with a wide range of engineering stakeholders to ensure compliance with DSEAR & COMAH.
