The job itself

Market Weighton Infant School are looking for two 1:1 Teaching Assistants for September 2024 to join our dedicated team of professionals.

The successful candidates need to be enthusiastic and highly motivated L1 or above Teaching Assistants, required to work 1:1 with SEN pupils (EYFS and KS1) and to support the children with their learning. The successful applicants will become part of our hard working and dedicated team.

Experience of working with SEN pupils and a qualification in Learning Support is desirable. Applicants are encouraged to indicate, in their application, their personal strengths and any areas of expertise they would bring to the school.

The perfect candidate will ideally:

  • Have experience of working in a Primary school
  • Have experience of working with and supporting children with SEN
  • Be sensitive, positive and friendly
  • Be a good team member

6.75 hours per day, with 30 minutes for lunch.
