Collingham Independent GCSE and Sixth-Form College, a leading independent college with 50 years of experience, seeks an outstanding SENDCo to coordinate and help deliver SEND provision across our two sites, 4 days a week, to start in the Autumn Term of 2024.

Purpose of Role

Lead and manage the SEND provision. You will oversee and be responsible for the day-to-day matters pertaining to all students with SEND, both at GCSE and A-level. Manage the SEND and EAL register and co-ordinate those students requiring examination access arrangements. Liaise with LEA, parents/carers, and external professionals regarding students with EHCPs and/or SEND. Contribute towards whole School Safeguarding through the DSL. The successful candidate will: Be a graduate with a relevant good honours degree and appropriate SpLD qualificationsBe a creative, inventive and dedicated practitioner with a real passion for supporting pupils to achieve their bestHave experience in either the private or maintained sector.Be confident working within a cloud-based IT systemHave an exceptional eye for detailBe excited by the school's vision and respect the school's values.
