CRA Consulting Overview:


We are currently looking to recruit a locum technical conveyancer to work for a large firm of solicitors who are expanding.

This role will act as an auditor for existing files and make sure everything is compliant and correct. This is offered on a temporary basis for around - 3 months whilst they recruit into the existing teams. The role can start straight away and the firm offers, remote, hybrid or office working in Sheffield.

Role Description:

  • Case Management: Efficiently manage a comprehensive caseload of conveyancing files from initiation to completion, adhering to the highest standards of legal compliance.

Technical Support:
Offer expert advice and support on intricate legal matters in residential and commercial property transactions.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Draft, scrutinize, and amend contracts and documents to ensure precision and legal integrity.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks associated with the conveyancing process.
  • Operational Excellence: Guarantee the prompt and precise execution of conveyancing duties, including applications to the land registry and managing stamp duty submissions.
  • Client Relations: Maintain exemplary standards of client service, ensuring transparent and effective communication throughout the transaction process.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of legislative changes and advancements in conveyancing practices to enhance service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with substantial experience.
  • Deep understanding of property law and a proven track record in conveyancing.
  • Capable of managing a high caseload independently.
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with modern conveyancing software and technologies.
  • Strong adaptability to remote work environments, with outstanding communication and self management skills.
