This role is focused on delivering IT training courses and workshops, supported further by coaching sessions in the workplace. Providing feedback from training programmes to support further development of training materials and maintain a close relationship with service users. To deliver, develop and evaluate systems training to all staff groups determined by the needs of the service.

An experienced trainer and technician, able to adapt to different audiences in terms of delivery and use feedback to evaluate understanding and success, and to drive the continuous improvement of systems, processes and associated training.

This role acts as subject matter expert to advice and guide business leads in developing new and reviewing existing practices, systems and processes. This role project manages the implementation of new practices, systems and processes.

Providing a high standard of training including developing, producing and continuously improving training materials and information that meets the variety of different needs, including maintaining the training database and records to facilitate training.Conducting training needs analysis to ensure able to determine training and development requirements for different groups of employees. Developing, designing, reviewing and delivering training plans as required to meet changing needs of the service. Ensuring that training rooms are properly and appropriately prepared and maintained for use by workers and gives consideration to the requirements of Health and Safety at work in the training roomBeing the Subject Matter Expert for specific areas of process and practice to the business. Project managing the development of new functionality, systems and processes in line with the business requirements, including user acceptance testing, training and development of user guides.Overseeing the testing of new versions of systems and provide documentation and/or training on new functions as appropriateManaging the online training for the case management system for the Directorate. Level 4 Award in Education and Training or equivalent (PTLLS) Educated to A level or equivalent by experience.Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area.Experience of experience in delivering training and developing training materials as necessary to meet changing business needs Experience of supporting the maintenance of data to facilitate and deliver training. Evidence of awareness and knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements, including awareness of equality and discrimination legislation to ensure courses and training address such concerns.
