Responsibilities:


The Head of Operations will have overall responsibility for ensuring each account P&L, forecast and budget is in line with agreed business requirements.

Reporting to the COO this position will have direct management responsibility for each account manager, our strategy in the UK is to replicate what we do operationally in Ireland along with their PMO and field teams comprising of both direct and subcontract labour.

This role is a member of the Executive team

  • Provide strong leadership to the internal managers and their teams who are primarily responsible for the build and maintenance of the telecoms networks, fixed line and renewables in line with business unit strategy
  • Commercial accountability on all accounts in their business regions, must work closely with our commercial team
  • Must work close with Ops Manager in the other business region
  • Design and agree annual KPIs for each division with the relevant manager to meet strategic and budget targets
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring account managers P&L's, budgets and forecasts are in line with agreed business requirement's each week
  • Deal directly with any operational issues from Account Managers on all accounts
  • Attend weekly client meetings with the Account Managers and meet clients face to face to get a broader understanding on how the client see us as a supply partner
  • Manage the client relationship from the delivery perspective, ensuring we are delivering/commercially/safely to the agreed engagement terms
  • Controlling the vetting and hiring of direct employees and contracting partners
  • Liaising with account managers on T&C's and rates with both direct employees and contracting partners
  • Overseeing the communication between technical, design and delivery teams
  • Must have RAN/MW roll out experience
  • Approve and assist where necessary with potential business tendering requirements
  • Build and manage credible, trusted relationships with key clients
  • Ensure relevant client reporting is performed to agreed standards, schedule, and accuracy.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to operational and service issues ensuring all KPI's and SLA'a are met for build and maintenance
  • Responsible for the timely reporting and escalation of service delivery issues to the COO as they occur.
  • Attendance at the monthly business review meetings
  • Attendance at the weekly finance meetings
  • Deal with ad-hoc queries of a business unit nature
  • Responsibility for ensuring Performance Reviews are carried out
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and Champion compliance with Obelisk policies and procedures to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.

Responsible for all supply chain ,including logistics ,contractors ,design etc
