About the role

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will play an integral role in ensuring that the company complies with its legal, regulatory and corporate governance obligations. Reporting into the Head of Legal, key responsibiities will include:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of legal documentsProviding advice to commercial teams on contract interpretationReviewing product packaging and promotional materials for legal complianceSupporting the implementation and monitoring of compliance programmesOrganising and creating training materials, monitoring attendance and spotting compliance issuesHandling intellectual property matters including trade mark clearance searches and drafting NDAsProviding dispute resolution support and adviceUndertaking legal research on a variety of topics About you

The ideal candidate will have the drive and initiative to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:

UK-qualified solicitor with NQ - 2 PQE gained in private practice or within an in-house environment (however all candidates will be considered on merit)Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environmentProactive approach with initiative and hands-on attitudeExcellent multitasking abilitiesHigh standards with attention to detailWell-developed verbal and written communication skills What's next?
