This growing team of highly talented developers is seeking a Lead VFX Artist to create exceptional visual effects for their innovative projects on Console and PC platforms. Collaborating with a prestigious AAA publisher on an exciting new venture, this is the perfect opportunity to make your mark

As the Lead VFX Artist, you'll report to the art team lead, playing a pivotal role in shaping the studio's creative vision. We're seeking a creative effects artist with a strong technical background, problem-solving prowess, and excellent memory management skills to deliver cutting-edge VFX that set new industry benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality VFX that captivate audiences.

Serve as the go-to person for all VFX-related knowledge within the studio.

Oversee both in-house and outsourced VFX work, ensuring exceptional quality.

Create comprehensive VFX documentation, providing clear examples and processes.

Qualifications/Skills:

Profound knowledge of VFX and VFX animation in various contexts (cinematic, traditional, and games).

Ownership of VFX design and implementation, from concept to execution.

Experience with game industry pipelines, VFX software, runtime optimization, and associated animation workflows.

Effective collaboration with outsource teams, providing clear guidance.

Required Experience:

Previous senior-level experience as a VFX artist (minimum 5+ years in the games industry).

Impressive portfolio showcasing expertise in VFX, lighting, and animation.

Shipped at least one project on console or PC throughout the development cycle (preferably in a senior or lead role).

In-depth knowledge of animation VFX, using Maya, VFX software, and game engines.

Desirable Skills:

Proficiency in UE4, Unity, and in-house game engines.

Understanding of gameplay-driven and cinematic VFX, with a passion for cinematography.
