Job Title: Class 2 HIAB Driver

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane to deliver building materials to various sites across Crawley and surrounding areas.

Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Conduct daily pre-use vehicle inspections and ensure that the vehicle is maintained in a roadworthy condition.

Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery notes and vehicle checklists.

Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.

Current HIAB certification (remote and manual operation experience preferred).

Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digi Tacho Card.

Prior experience in the building materials sector is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of road safety regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
