We are representing a well-established client in the property management industry, responsible for maintaining and upgrading multiple student accommodation sites across Liverpool. The client is committed to providing a high-quality living environment for students and is seeking a dedicated and skilled painter to join their team immediately.
Job Description:
The client is looking for an experienced painter to undertake an on-going role, working across various student accommodation sites in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting tasks are completed to a high standard, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of living spaces for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and doors.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired look and consistency.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks across multiple sites.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members to coordinate work schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably with experience in residential or commercial properties.
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and own transport (preferred but not essential).
- Blue or Gold CSCS Card required.
