Role: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Heathrow

Term: Long Term Ongoing Contract

Hourly Rate: £20 - £25 per hour

MJM Industrial is currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters to work over at Heathrow airport both airside and landside.

MECHANICAL FITTERS RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful Mechanical Fitters duties will vary depending on the project/s we are running at the time but will include but won t be limited to;

  • Equipment Installations
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Reactive repairs
  • Shutdowns
  • Shift Cover

MECHANICAL FITTERS BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Mechanical fitter role:

  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above in a mechanical or electrical maintenance discipline
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Computer literate.

The following experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the Mechanical Fitter positions:

  • Previous FMCG, manufacturing or automated warehousing experience;
  • Electrical experience.
  • PLC and diagnostic experience.

The successful Mechanical Fitter will be working a minimum of 45 hours a week.
