The team you'll work with:

The Early-Stage Banking team ('ESB') is focused on originating and building deep and authentic client relationships with pre-seed to Series A founders, clients and partners primarily in the UK.

The ESB team is growing fast, and we have lots of exciting initiatives in the pipeline.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Vice President to join ESB to work on a wide range of initiatives to help cement our position as the leading bank for technology & life science companies.


The value you'll add:

Reporting to the Head of Early-Stage Ecosystem Coverage, this role will be responsible for designing and implementing our new 'Founder Success' programme - our founder focused programme of content, workshops and curated events.

You will also be expected to materially contribute to ESB's origination and growth targets by building out relationships with key players within the early-stage ecosystem including accelerators, incubators, law firms, accountants and early-stage VC & angel investors.



What you can expect to be doing:
Leading on development of the 'Founder Success' programme, taking this from concept stage to a scalable 'world class' programme delivering value add (i.e. 'fundraising and scaling 101') to clients & prospects of HSBC Innovation Banking.

Create and execute founder focused events in the market. Including founder office hours, workshops, webinars and other 1:1 engagement initiatives.

Play an integral role in handling key channel partner relationships including accelerators, incubators, seed stage investors, professional service providers and leading universities.

Contribute meaningfully to the ideation and creation of market-leading content that is relevant and applicable to the needs of early-stage founders.

Work closely with the Head of Early-Stage Ecosystem Coverage and other team members to help develop new initiatives for driving engagement with partners to contribute to winning new client referrals.


Contribute to ESB's origination and growth targets by building out relationships with key players within the early-stage ecosystem.
