The Role of the Accounts Assistant

With the assistance and supervision of a client manager you will have responsibility for, and ownership of, the following tasks and processes:
  • Assisting client manager in servicing a portfolio of clients
  • Reviewing and undertaking record keeping
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Processing payroll
  • Managing correspondence
  • Maintaining databases
    The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Assistant
    • Minimum of one year's work experience in an Accountancy Practice
    • A desire to learn every day with a positive attitude
    • Possesses an aptitude for time and deadline management
    • Experience of using Xero would be preferable, but not essential
