Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00am to 5:00pm
Friday: 08:00am to 2:30PM

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, review, and reply to Customer RFQs and their technical queries.
  • Create timely and accurate estimates and quotations from customer enquiries and technical drawings.
  • Liaise with customers over the phone and via email, regarding technical and non-technical questions, providing a client-centric service.
  • Produce quotations to deadlines, estimating all machining, materials, and inspection times for in-house elements, and incorporate externally sourced elements such as sub-contract when applicable.
  • Develop new and existing supplier relationships.
  • Understand and identify machining methods of manufacture and select accurate cycle times (CNC Turning & Boring experience a distinct advantage).
  • Liaise with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Experience and Qualities Required:
  • Extensive experience within precision engineering with extensive knowledge of machine capabilities and machining practices.
  • Ability to read and translate technical drawings is essential.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communicative, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Pride in your work and a keen interest in the company's resulting performance.
  • Loyalty, commitment, and drive to enhance the performance of the business.
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
