Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, programming, and operating large CNC vertical or horizontal borers to machine a variety of castings, forgings, profiles, and fabrications in various metals. This role involves collaborating with the production support team, including planning engineers, machine shop supervisors, team leaders, quality management, and CNC manufacturing engineers, to tackle interesting and challenging projects while meeting high customer standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

• Time-served (Machine Shop apprenticeship)
• Experience with vertical or horizontal borers (manual experience accepted)
• Ability to set one-off jobs
• Experience with components 1m and over
• Proficient in using manual measurement equipment (dimensions and surface finish)
• Ability to read engineering drawings

Desirable:

• Programming skills (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhein)
