Housekeeping Cleaning Staff - Kensington, Central London

​​​​Studio FIX is a new, luxury fitness studio occupying 7,500st/ft of Kensington High Street. Across three studios, Studio FIX offer Yoga, Barre, Lagree Megaformer, Boxing, Strength and HIIT classes, as well as fully stocked changing rooms, a coffee and juice lounge, and is fully wheelchair accessible.

The Role

Our housekeeping team are key to the smooth running of our studio. The cleanliness and tidiness of a studio and it's changing rooms make a lasting impression on clients and we want ours to have the wow factor. We are looking for reliable and proactive Housekeeping Team Members who will take responsibility for the presentation of our spaces and ensure that our high standards are maintained.

  • Undertake cleaning tasks to an excellent standard and as instructed by Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.
  • Ensure all changing room supplies are fully stocked, fresh towels are folded or rolled, and towel laundry is removed into designated areas.
  • Report any low stock to Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Follow cleaning protocol, and use cleaning materials economically and correctly, informing the Housekeeping Supervisor when stocks are low.
  • Carry out regular checks to cleaning equipment and report any faults to the Housekeeping Supervisor or General Manager.
  • Carry out general cleaning of studios, lounge, changing rooms, back bar and offices as and when necessary to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, and emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers.
  • Ensuring that all back bar and back of house areas are kept clean and all equipment within the kitchen and back bar areas are cleaned in accordance with food health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure the correct PPE is used and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Experience in hospitality or leisure is desirable, preferably in a premium facility. Flexibility to work shifts. Weekend work will be required.
