Surf Team Leader

PGL are currently looking to recruit a Surf Team Leader to join to the team at Beam House, in beautiful north Devon. A short drive from some of the UK's best surfing beaches, including Westward Ho, Beam House is an outdoor activity centre with a laid back feel.
As Surf Team Leader you will lead the surf operation to deliver a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience to our guests in a residential outdoor setting. You will support the smooth running of the operation and ensure our guests' have a fantastic experience.
Your responsibilities will include taking responsibility for the Surf operation at Beam House, acting as a role model by demonstrating the highest possible standards of behaviour, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy activity department, and delivering the highest levels of customer service.
The successful candidate will hold a ISA Level 1 Surf Coach, or higher, and be able to demonstrate energy, drive and determination. You will have excellent organisational skills, communication, and time management along with a drive to progress. Previous experience of leading teams, awareness of current policies and procedures and a high-level experience of customer care and activity delivery are desirable.
The role is offered as a part year permanent contract, with a meal package and accommodation available on site, if required.
Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL.
