The role

The successful candidate will be an exceptional Economics teacher, with the ability to deliver great results for their students. They will be committed to providing quality education and working collaboratively with colleagues towards this goal. They will be able to help all students at KAA, from Year 7 to Year 13, understand the value of their subject and be confident in their studies.

We currently deliver just A Level Economics (Edexcel), though we are considering introducing the GCSE in the future. If candidates are able to deliver Key Stage 3 or 4 maths alongside Economics, that would help strengthen their application, and they should detail that in their application. We would also consider offering the role part time to an exceptional candidate for this role.

You will be an excellent practitioner in your own right, with the potential to coach and develop those around you. You will be knowledgeable about your subject and able to think creatively about how to inspire KAA students with the curriculum. You will be reflective and resilient in the face of setbacks, and be open to making improvements to your own practice and that of your department.
