The University of Sunderland in London (UoSiL), based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus. We are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2024 and beyond We have just launched a pilot for a four-day working week and later this year we will be moving to a new, modern campus building adjacent to our current location offering a bright and spacious learning and working environment.

We are looking for exceptional individuals to teach, assess and support learning of Postgraduate/Undergraduate students in the field of Tourism and Hospitality. In addition, there are opportunities to supervise students' research projects.

We would like to hear from experts who can provide lectures, seminars and research supervisions.

The main modules include:

Research Methods for the Service Sector (SPSS knowledge is essential)

International Hospitality Management

Hospitality Management Studies

Marketing for the Service Sector

You need to have previous experience of working in Higher Education as a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality as well as a Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in this subject area. The ability to relate your teaching to a practical setting via exceptional communication and presentation skills is required. In addition, you will have significant experience of online and face to face teaching within the Higher Education Sector and experience of using apps / platforms alongside practical or classroom-based learning.

Previous experience of supervising students' research projects and a teaching qualification/HEA fellowship would be advantageous.

To provide good quality of teaching and learning to our students, we are looking for someone who available for at least two days a week to attend face to face teaching on campus.
