Quality Assurance Manager

Seeking an experienced QA Manager focused on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), to join a SME biotech, working in the gene therapy and gene editing space. In this role you will manage a team to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) operates effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage QA team and cultivate a culture of quality.
  • Take responsibility for ongoing management of the QMS as a senior member of the QA Team.
  • Develop and maintain GMP quality systems and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and inspections, manage deviations.
  • Be prepared to deliver group and individual training on QMS and cGMP topics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless quality integration.
  • Stay updated on GMP regulations and drive continuous improvements.
  • Resolve non-conformances and customer complaints.

    Qualifications:
    • 5 years in pharmaceutical QA with GMP emphasis.
    • Strong GMP regulatory knowledge.
    • Broad experience of Quality Management Systems.
    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Problem-solving and effective communication.
    • Must hold the right to work in the UK.
