We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and conscientious teacher of English. This exciting role offers great opportunities for the successful candidate and a chance to make a difference to some wonderful young people. We are looking for a Teacher of English who:
has successful experience of teaching English at KS3 and KS4has successful experience of teaching a range of abilitieshas successful experience of teaching in a comprehensive school with a significant number of disadvantaged students and will be: Vibrant with high expectations of themselves and studentsPassionate about learningCaring and patientAble to work as part of a teamAmbitious for their own professional and career developmentAble to motivate and enthuse students through a commitment to equal opportunities, regardless of background, Special Educational Needs or prior attainmentEnthusiastic about wider school developments, including Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Education We are a happy school community in which the skills and potential of our students are developed, encouraging moral, social and economic awareness so that they can lead confident, healthy and responsible lives as individuals and members of society.
