An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-motivated and experienced candidate to join an established business as a Buyer .
The successful candidate will be from a Manufacturing background with relevant work experience.
As an experienced Buyer you will cover the following key Duties.
  • Managing stock levels
  • Raise subcontract / raw material PO's
  • Checking contract review prices
  • Running weekly order books
  • Attending meetings to review current shortages
  • Daily maintaining of supplier trackers
  • Supporting the purchasing team through data entry
  • Raising manual orders, managing invoice queries, communicating with suppliers and other general day-to-day office duties.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a Strong, confident & professional manner.
  • Strong Team player
  • Good knowledge of all MS office applications, specifically excel to an advanced level.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Confident and well organised
  • Proactive and able to multitask.
  • Drive and determination to succeed.
  • Strong and confident communication and customer liaison skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills, methodical worker with high level attention to details.
Salary £30-£35k
