Job Description Summary
The General Manager, Care Area & Digital Monetization & Delivery - International, will be responsible for the business strategy for Care Area and Digital Solutions across the international region. This role will lead market development and downstream portfolio management across all care areas and digital solutions. The incumbent will be customer-centric, focusing on shaping value propositions and differentiated offerings that resonate with customers with existing infrastructure and those with greenfield/brownfield projects.
The individual in this role must be a self-starter, a strategic thinker, action and output-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, and succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization and customer institutions.
This role will develop long-term, innovative, and collaborative partnerships, structure unique business models to expand access to care and deliver better outcomes and play a pivotal role within the International Enterprise Solutions Leadership team.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Define care area strategy and delivery in partnership with cross-functional teams, such as regional teams, Global Oncology/Cardiology/Neurology teams, and segment teams.
- Collaborate with International segment, Zone, and Enterprise solutions leaders to drive growth in the various care areas and track relevant business metrics, including growth drivers/detractors, customer usage, and forecasts for future quarters.
- Responsible for "Training & coaching" sessions with key stakeholders on topics including, but not limited to, trends in Oncology, Cardiology, Precision Medicine (Genomics/Radiomics), technicalities & nuances. Build content for the focused Care Areas training modules.
- Clarify and communicate GEHC Care Area Value propositions, with a focus on Enterprise Solutions customers.
- Leverage relationships with key customers, thought leaders, and industry influencers to stay abreast of market trends. Support in driving Key Opinion Leader relationships and the growth of overall market share within the GEHC International region.
- Drive GE Healthcare's thought leadership across various Oncology/Cardiology/Neurology areas with global domain knowledge and work with regional commercial teams for high-level clinical discussions with CXOs and department heads.
- Collect feedback from customers & internal stakeholders, analyzing market data and Voice of Customer data to create segment-specific sales and customer enablement tools. Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge, including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms.
- Manage Clinical and Care Area delivery team to support multi-modality deals. Offer clinical expertise support for ongoing projects.
- Drive GEHC NPS Score on Care Area solutions delivery and strategic partnerships with key enterprise accounts in partnership with other Enterprise Solutions Leaders.
- Define digital monetization strategy (e.g., pricing model including but not limited to subscriptions, SaaS, pay-per-use, leasing, GTM strategy, sales & marketing plan) for selected digital solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams, such as regional teams, Global Science & Technology Office, and segment and modality digital teams.
- Manage enterprise solutions digital commercial/business development team.
- Suggest improvement inputs into selected Care Area Digital solutions developed by Global SBU to accelerate product-market fit for both mature and emerging markets.
- Clarify and communicate GEHC digital solutions value propositions, with a focus on Enterprise Solutions customers.
- Leverage relationships with key customers, thought leaders, industry influencers, and the media (including but not limited to both traditional and digital media) to drive GEHC thought leadership on healthcare providers' digital transformation.
- Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders, analyze market data and Voice of Customer to drive insights for digital solutions & tools development.
- Lead and manage the Digital Solutions implementation team to support multi-modality deals, providing clinical expertise for ongoing projects.
- Partner with other enterprise solutions teams (e.g., commercial, science & technology, healthcare consulting) to support the delivery of multi-discipline/multi-year digital transformation programs at healthcare providers.
- Improve customer satisfaction and drive GEHC NPS scores for Digital Solutions delivery by managing strategic partnerships with key enterprise accounts in collaboration with other Enterprise Solutions Leaders.
- Have a deep understanding of the customer ecosystem in the care areas domain to innovate ways to generate business growth in support of business segment targets on orders, revenue, cost, and margin.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills.
- Should be able to drive outcome-based selling (VBM) by mapping organ-specific care area workflows (patient journey) and bringing innovation in proposing solutions and products. Establish clinical and technology company business model innovation and commercial terms, especially in new or adjacent markets.
- Ability to recommend sound investment decisions based on market opportunities, market trends, risks, competitive landscape, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish and manage relationships across GEHC businesses and sub-businesses, partners and customers at CXO and senior management levels across industries and geographies. Must be able to build credibility and relationships across all functions and levels within the organization and with customers.
- Work cross-functionally across sales, internal/external customers, analysts, marketing, engineering, and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy. Influence internally and have the skills to navigate and be successful in a matrixed organization.
- Regional travel required as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine with Clinical experience of at least 7-10 years in a hospital setup and having a progressive leadership position within the healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market and decision-makers.
- Experience in product/clinical marketing will be an added advantage. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial/sales/strategy functions will be an added advantage.
- Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team-building skills. Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- High-level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.
- Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration, and influence at all levels within an organization.
