We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Management Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO and stakeholders, this role will be pivotal in driving financial health, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives across our diverse portfolio of leisure and hospitality brands recognized around the world.

What You'll Do:

Financial Management:

Collaborate with the CEO to manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, overseeing financial reporting and analysis.

Support decision making through financial insights and recommendations.

Supervise, train and mentor a team of 3 – 4 junior accounting and payroll staff.

Operational Support:

Partner with operational teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial metrics.

Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Conduct periodic financial audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Strategic Initiatives:

Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation through financial analysis and market insights.

Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to support business growth and profitability.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives.

Who You Are:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting roles, preferably within the franchise or hospitality & Leisure industry.

Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. In depth experience with Xero/Quickbooks and knowledge of associated apps.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience with Xero and Sage is a plus.

Knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll preparation.

Ability to prepare management accounts, including key performance indicators and cash flows.

Confident in meeting and working closely with host brands & banks.

Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
