Are you a part qualified accountant looking for a varied role within a growing business? Hamlin Knight are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to report into the Financial Controller of this Coventry based client with responsibility for the monthly Management Accounts.

A successful manufacturing company supplying into well known high street brands, this expanding company operates with a strong team ethic and happy working environment. Once trained up you will be encouraged to take ownership over your role. You'll have support and development where you need it whilst being encouraged to be proactive and use your initiative to add value. We have placed a number of individuals into this business so we have first hand feedback of what working there is like.

Responsibilities:

Perform control account reconciliations including debtors, creditors, cash book, stockPrepare monthly management accounts involving prepayments, accruals, sales rebates, overhead/expenses analysisEnhance and improve management information systemsAid in ad hoc/project-based tasks under the guidance of the Financial ControllerHandle various accounts administrative duties as required, including sales invoicing and credit controlCollaborate on purchase ledger activities such as inputting invoices, statement reconciliations, and payments
The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in accounting and ideally be studying AAT/CIMA/ACCA or looking to study.
