Financial Controller

Agrowing business operating in the construction sectoris looking to add a Financial Controller to their team.

Whilst working as part of a small finance function you will ensure the provision of providing quality and timely management information to pillar management and group finance function.

The role in more detail will include: : Oversee month end procedures in an accurate and timely manner, includingjournal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation : Coordinate and support contract budgeting and forecasting : Ensure full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance : Assist in the coordination and completion of audit requirements : Support Tenders and Business plans when required : Ensuring the systems and processes are fit for purposes and continually reviewed and improved : Ensuring the correct IT set:up ofnew projects and employees : Overhead reporting : Payroll and Pension support The successful applicant will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with all accounting experience within the construction / engineering sector, with an understanding of a project driven business.

You will have both a strong technical background but also a keen commercial awareness.

You will oversee a small team and possess strong IT skills including a high degree of Microsoft Excel competence.
